Shepshed Foodbank is an Independant Community Foodbank staffed entirely by volunteers servicing the local community and surrounding villages. It was started in 2014 and to date we have distributed over 14000 food parcels to people in our local communities. Last year, we provided food every single week to over 45 residents.

We are proud to announce that Shepshed Foodbank is now a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO charity number 1175238). We recently received formal confirmation of our new charity status from the Charity Commission, the regulator for Charities in England and Wales.
